Rhythm City

Originating from the Bronx, New York, Rhythm City captures the essence of Hip-Hop in its rare form. In a world where style and music are constantly changing, Rhythm City’s choreography remains innovative and unique, resulting in a group of individuals who express dance in a style all their own.

This troupe of dancers are going six years strong in expanding there Brand that is Rhythm City. In doing so they have made their mark on several networks, such as CBS in their 1st televised appearance on Showtime at the Apollo. After that BET's “Rip the Run Way”, “Blaze the Stage” & “106 & Park's Wild Out Wednesday”. ESPN, ABC, and finally after fighting to make the auditions and building there name, Rhythm City made it on to MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew Season 4. Being the 1st dance crew to appear on the show from the Bronx. From here Rhythm City has been a work for hire entity. This brand has been attached to several "Big Names" such as; AOL, COMCAST, NIKE, CONVERSE, SPRITE, NAIR, LUCILLE ROBERTS, CERVARIX and currently PEPSI in the "Bronx Flava" Campaign, which feature Rhythm City in several billboards and ad's all around the US.

Not only has the company been busy working with major networks and companies, they have also worked with major artists in the industry such as; MISSY ELLIOT, USHER, BUSTA RHYMES, LIL MAMA, WYCLEF, KRS1, BEYONCE, and Latin artists YEYO, DON OMAR, NOTCH, AVENTURA and ANGEL Y KHRIS.

After sweeping the east coast with a winning streak of all major dance competitions, and working in the industry. Rhythm City wanted to expand and head abroad. Some avenues include Switzerland and now they have taken on the Asian market. Touring in 20+ cities of China, including Shanghai, Beijing, and Hangzhou.

Rhythm City uses Hip-Hop to empower the youth in their communities as an alternative to drugs, violence, and destructive influences. Led by CEO/Artistic Director Alonzo Williams, Rhythm City has grown to utilize hip-hop dance as a powerful medium to inspire performance and to bring positive messages to diversities all around the globe. Rhythm City is continuing to grow as a company as well as a Brand.
